Love towards country?

Although the National Day already past about one week, but i just read back some of the newspaper that wrote regarding my country-Malaysia. There are a lot of opinions and article that showing the respect and love towards the country. Well, me as a malaysian i think that i am just lacking of love towards my country. Because from all the article, Malaysia is a wonderful and fabulous country for them. All the stories are about love, sacrifices, friendship among races etc. After reading,i felt like i am not malaysian, i am from the other country as well. I think that this is because i live in an area that build out by chinese. Majority of my neighbours are chinese, only few of them are malay and indian. So, i do not strongly feel the similarities.

Another reason that i feel that i am not malaysian because only on the National Day's newspaper, we could see and read about articles that talking about "love" and "respect"  between malaysian. On the other day, racists and criticism will get all over the newspaper. The leader that giving a "shocking" speech, the gathering that criticized the uec etc. This is the Malaysia that i used to see. But on the National Day everything suddenly change, so positively. Sometimes i even doubt about the reality and the reliability of the articles. Whether the writer is Malaysian or not?

I wrote this few paragraphs are not trying to critic those articles, but i am happy that at least we can see and read some positive articles in the newspaper. At least still have the day that every Malaysian reunion again. Sometimes people confused as they think that leaders equal to the country. Actually this is not true. Leaders will always give us "surprise" , this is their fault. Our country Malaysia still the best country ever if we do not have the "intelligent" leader. I never respect those leaders that do not have integrity. They are just a "humor" for me. Malaysia still a wondeful country if we ignore the useless leader.
